An experience as unique as our originals.

True handcraftsmanship is timeless. It never goes out of style. This can also be experienced at the manufactory location in Gmunden. If you want to venture a look behind the scenes, you can do so on a guided tour of the manufactory, which is offered all year round in all weathers. In addition to a short film, some particularly valuable exhibits, a touch station and a photo station, you will gain detailed insights into the creation of the unique Gmundner ceramics. From turning, glazing, painting, flaming and firing – experience with how much love and craftsmanship Gmundner ceramics are made.

After deciding to go on a bad weather day, the 60 minutes proved an interesting experience. Perhaps because of the young lady conducting the tour was quite lively and made quite an impression in passing on her extensive knowledge while demonstrating the various painting techniques. The women employed there were very friendly.

Fabulous! Excellent, well-presented and informative demonstration. Staff very nice. I can only recommend that everyone takes the tour so that they can learn what goes on behind the scenes.
Martina K., Munich
The tour really fascinated me. It was exciting to see how much craftsmanship and attention to detail goes into each piece of Gmundner ceramics.
